Boarding
OnIce is proudly home to 30 Icelandic horses of all ages. Our indoor/outdoor facility provides a great place to ride in all seasons. We are always welcoming Icelandic horses to come and join our herd! If you are interested in boarding with us, or for more information please contact us.
Lessons
Our goal is to provide people and horses with the tools to be successful in their aspirations, whatever that may be. We offer lessons on our purebred Icelandic horses or you can take lessons on your own horse. We emphasize communication between horse and rider through dressage exercises and gaits. We also teach fundamental horse knowledge such as tacking, mounting and dismounting. Tölt is always a main focus of the lessons, as its a gait special to Icelandic horses. We also offer lessons to both gaited and non-gaited horses. Lessons can be in groups up to four participants or private. Contact us for more information or to sign up.
Training
At OnIce we provide training for all levels of horses from starting, to gait training, to competition training. We believe a strong basic communication is fundamental for all horses to be able to progress to your end goal, whether that's competing, trail riding on a smooth horse, ground work, dressage or more. Clinics
Clinics are a great form of education. OnIce hosts almost monthly clinics. In these clinics, participants ride in groups of three or four twice a day, with auditing opportunities in between. OnIce also brings in guest clinicians from Iceland and the US to teach. OnIce's trainer Sydney will travel to teach clinics off property. Horse Sales
Here at OnIce we have a variety of horses for sale. We believe in taking our time with horse sales as most of our horses were born and raised at OnIce. Our goal is to match horse and rider to ensure a long, happy relationship. If you have an Icelandic horse that you are looking to re-home we also take horses in on consignment. If you are interested in purchasing or selling an Icelandic please contact us.
Events
We try to offer a number of different events year round to participate in for all levels of riders, including clinics, obstacle courses, and this year our first ever show.
